Fromis 9 (Korean: 프로미스나인; stylized in snake case) is a South Korean girl group formed by CJ E&M through the 2017 reality show Idol School. The group is composed of five members: Song Ha-young, Park Ji-won, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung, and Baek Ji-heon. Originally a nine-piece group, Jang Gyu-ri departed the group in July 2022 and Lee Sae-rom, Roh Ji-sun and Lee Seo-yeon departed at the end of 2024.
The group debuted on January 24, 2018, with their management under Stone Music Entertainment and their creative direction and production of music under Pledis Entertainment, with the release of their first extended play (EP), To. Heart. Fromis 9's management transitioned to Off the Record Entertainment in September 2018, a new label founded by Stone Music. Subsequently, Pledis Entertainment managed the group from August 21, 2021, until their contract with the agency ended on December 31, 2024. In January 2025, five members of the group signed with Asnd and are set to release new music in June.
