Sycamore
Sycamore is a name which has been applied to several types of trees, but with somewhat similar leaf forms. The name derives from the Ancient Greek σῡκόμορος (sykómoros) meaning 'fig-mulberry'.

Platanus occidentalis, the American sycamore
