The Smiler
The Smiler is a steel roller coaster located at Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. It was built in 2013 and is an Infinity Coaster model from Gerstlauer and is located in the X-Sector area of the park. The ride currently holds a world record for most inversions on a roller coaster, featuring 14 inversions that include dive loops, sidewinders, corkscrews, and other inverting elements.
